Bohorok

A warm, dry, and gusty downslope wind on the leeward side of the Barisan Mountains in Sumatra, Indonesia. This regional wind is a type of foehn wind, resulting from air losing its moisture as it ascends the windward slopes and then warming adiabatically as it descends the other side. The bohorok primarily occurs during the dry season.
