Pyrhenerwind

A foehn wind of the Austrian Alps, a warm, dry and gusty wind that descends the lee slopes after air has crossed the crest and lost moisture on the windward side. It raises temperature and lowers humidity quickly in the valleys it reaches. The name is a local one used in the Austrian Alps, not in the Pyrenees.
