Bromine compounds

Chemical substances containing bromine that are present in the atmosphere, playing a role in atmospheric chemistry. These compounds, both natural and anthropogenic, can participate in catalytic ozone destruction cycles in the stratosphere and troposphere. Examples include methyl bromide (CH3Br) and brominated very short-lived substances (VSLS).
