Centipoise
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-004227
A unit of dynamic viscosity, equivalent to one-hundredth of a poise. It is a measure of a fluid's resistance to flow, with higher values indicating a thicker or more viscous fluid. Water at 20 degrees Celsius has a dynamic viscosity of approximately one centipoise, making it a convenient reference for many fluid dynamics applications.
