Chemisorption
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-004269
The process where gas molecules adhere to a solid surface through the formation of a chemical bond, involving a transfer or sharing of electrons. This strong interaction creates a stable, single layer of molecules on the surface. It differs from physisorption, which involves weaker intermolecular forces.
