Foehn gap

A localized area on the leeward side of a mountain range where foehn conditions are particularly pronounced, often due to specific topographic features that channel the downslope flow. This gap experiences stronger winds, higher temperatures, and lower humidity compared to surrounding areas. It is a region where the foehn effect is concentrated.
