Parametric equations
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-007799
A set of equations that express the coordinates of points on a curve or surface as functions of one or more independent variables, called parameters. In atmospheric science, these equations can describe the trajectory of air parcels or the evolution of atmospheric fields over time. They are often used in theoretical studies and model development.
