Turbulence component

Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-009841

A fluctuating part of a fluid's velocity or scalar quantity, such as temperature or humidity, that deviates from its mean value due to turbulent motion. These components are inherently random and contribute to the overall chaotic nature of turbulent flow. They are typically analyzed statistically to understand the characteristics of atmospheric turbulence.
