Washout coefficient
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-010097
A parameter that quantifies the efficiency of precipitation in removing aerosols or gases from the atmosphere. It represents the fraction of a pollutant removed per unit time by precipitation scavenging.
