Calcium test

A laboratory procedure to determine the concentration of calcium ions in a drilling fluid. This test involves titrating a fluid sample with a chelating agent, such as ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), using an indicator that changes color at the endpoint. The results are expressed in milligrams per liter (mg/L) or parts per million (ppm) of calcium.
