Centrifugal pump
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000626
A dynamic pump that uses a rotating impeller to accelerate fluid, converting rotational energy into kinetic energy and then into pressure. It is widely used in oil and gas for high-volume fluid transfer, such as circulating drilling mud, pumping water, or moving crude oil. The discharge pressure is directly related to the impeller's speed and diameter.
