Dewpoint
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001048
The temperature at which a gas, at a constant pressure, begins to condense into a liquid. In enhanced oil recovery, this concept is relevant for miscible gas injection processes where the injected gas may condense into a liquid phase within the reservoir. This phase change affects the efficiency of oil displacement and the overall recovery factor.
