Enhanced oil recovery

A set of advanced techniques used to recover additional crude oil from a reservoir after primary and secondary recovery methods have become uneconomical. These methods involve injecting fluids or energy into the reservoir to alter fluid properties or reservoir conditions. Common EOR processes include chemical flooding, miscible gas injection, and thermal methods.
