Ferro-chrome lignosulfonate
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001386
A drilling fluid additive derived from wood pulp, modified with iron and chromium compounds. It functions as a deflocculant and rheology modifier, reducing the viscosity and gel strength of water-based drilling muds. This additive also provides thermal stability and fluid loss control in high-temperature wellbore environments.
