Fiber LCM

A lost-circulation material (LCM) composed of natural or synthetic fibers, added to drilling fluid to seal fractures and permeable formations. These fibers bridge and plug openings in the wellbore, preventing the loss of drilling mud into the surrounding rock. Common fiber types include cellulose, shredded tires, and synthetic polymers.
