Mixed deposits

Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002394

Accumulations within a reservoir or wellbore that consist of a combination of different solid or semi-solid materials. These deposits might include asphaltenes, waxes, scale, and fine solids, which can precipitate from reservoir fluids or be introduced during production operations. Their presence can reduce permeability, plug perforations, and impede fluid flow, requiring specific remediation strategies.
