One-way time
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002620
The time taken for a seismic wave to travel from the source to a reflector in the subsurface. This is half of the two-way travel time, which is the total time for the wave to travel from the source to the reflector and back to the receiver. One-way time is often used in depth conversion calculations to determine the actual depth of subsurface features.
