Rh
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003153
The symbol for horizontal resistivity, the resistivity of a formation measured with current flowing parallel to the bedding planes. In a laminated or anisotropic formation it is lower than the vertical resistivity Rv, and the ratio of the two defines the coefficient of anisotropy. The flushed-zone resistivity is a different quantity, written Rxo.
