Rv
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003218
The resistivity of the invaded zone, which is the portion of the formation near the wellbore where drilling fluid filtrate has displaced some of the original formation fluids. This value is measured by logging tools that have a shallow depth of investigation. Rv is used in conjunction with other resistivity measurements to determine hydrocarbon saturation.
