Rod unit

The surface equipment, commonly known as a pumpjack or nodding donkey, that provides the reciprocating motion to drive a downhole sucker rod pump. It consists of a prime mover, gearbox, crank assembly, and walking beam. The rod unit converts rotational motion into vertical linear motion to lift oil and gas from the well.
