Vinyl polymer

A type of synthetic polymer formed from vinyl monomers, often used as a fluid loss control agent, viscosifier, or dispersant in drilling fluids. These polymers can modify the rheological properties of the mud and improve filter cake quality. Examples include polyvinyl alcohol and vinyl acetate copolymers.
