Seismic data acquired or processed to simulate a scenario where the seismic source and receiver are located at the same surface position. In practice, this is achieved through data processing techniques like normal moveout (NMO) correction and stacking of common midpoint (CMP) gathers. This type of data primarily represents reflections from directly beneath the source-receiver pair.
