Aspirator

A device that creates a partial vacuum by means of a high-velocity fluid jet, often water or air. The moving fluid entrains surrounding gas, drawing it away from a connected chamber. Laboratory aspirators are frequently used for filtration, distillation, or to remove solvent vapors from a reaction vessel.
