Vacuum system
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012490
An assembly of components designed to create and maintain a pressure lower than atmospheric pressure within a confined space. This setup typically includes a vacuum chamber, pumps, gauges, and valves to control the evacuation process. The degree of vacuum achieved can range from rough vacuum to ultra-high vacuum, depending on the application.
