Bound fraction
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001451
The portion of a radiolabeled substance that is specifically bound to a receptor, antibody, or other binding site in a radioanalytical assay. This fraction is typically separated from the unbound or free fraction for quantification. It is a key parameter in competitive binding assays to determine the concentration of an analyte.
