Cataract

A medical condition characterized by the clouding of the natural lens inside the eye, which leads to blurred vision and eventual vision loss if untreated. This opacification can be caused by aging, trauma, certain diseases, or prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light. Surgical removal of the clouded lens and replacement with an artificial one is the standard treatment.
