Chorioretinitis

An inflammatory condition affecting both the choroid, the vascular layer of the eye, and the retina, the light-sensitive tissue at the back of the eye. This inflammation can lead to vision impairment or loss if left untreated. It is often caused by infections, such as toxoplasmosis or cytomegalovirus.
