Cell line
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001778
A population of cells derived from a single cell or a small group of cells that can be maintained and propagated in vitro for an extended period. These cells have undergone genetic changes that allow them to proliferate indefinitely under specific culture conditions. Cell lines are widely used in research for studying cellular processes and drug screening.
