Chelating polymer

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001926

A polymer containing pendant or integral ligand groups capable of forming multiple coordinate bonds with a single metal ion. These polymers can sequester metal ions from solutions, forming stable chelate complexes. They are often used in applications such as metal ion extraction, catalysis, and wastewater treatment.
