Chemical reaction
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001959
A process that involves the rearrangement of the molecular or ionic structure of a substance, as opposed to a change in physical form or a nuclear reaction. Chemical reactions result in the formation of new substances with different properties. They are represented by chemical equations showing reactants and products.
