Chloracne

A severe, persistent acne-like skin condition caused by exposure to certain halogenated aromatic hydrocarbons, particularly dioxins and polychlorinated biphenyls. It is characterized by comedones, cysts, and pustules, primarily on the face and trunk. Chloracne is a classic indicator of systemic poisoning by these persistent organic pollutants.
