Coherent source
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002182
A source of radiation where the emitted waves maintain a constant phase relationship with each other over time and space. This property allows for phenomena like interference and diffraction to be observed. Lasers are prime examples of coherent light sources, producing monochromatic and highly directional beams.
