Compartmentalise

To divide a biological system or process into distinct, functionally separate units or compartments. This organization allows for specialized biochemical reactions or physiological functions to occur in isolated environments. Cellular organelles, such as mitochondria or the endoplasmic reticulum, are examples of compartmentalized structures within a cell.
