Cytoplasm

The entire contents within the cell membrane of a eukaryotic cell, excluding the nucleus. It comprises the cytosol, a jelly-like substance, and the organelles suspended within it, such as mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, and ribosomes. This region is where many metabolic reactions and cellular processes occur.
