Concentration distribution ratio

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002360

The ratio of the total analytical concentration of a solute in the mobile phase to its total analytical concentration in the stationary phase at equilibrium. This value reflects the partitioning of a substance between two immiscible phases in a separation system. It is a key parameter in chromatography and solvent extraction, influencing separation efficiency.
