Condition factor
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002386
A quantitative index used in ecotoxicology to assess the health and physiological state of an organism, particularly fish. It is calculated from the relationship between an organism's weight and length, reflecting its plumpness or robustness. A higher condition factor generally indicates better health and nutritional status in a population.
