Confidence limits
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002402
The upper and lower bounds of a confidence interval, which define a range within which the true value of a population parameter is expected to lie with a specified probability. These limits are calculated from sample data and the chosen confidence level. They provide a quantitative measure of the uncertainty associated with an analytical result.
