Coulometer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002626
An electrochemical device used to measure the total electric charge passed through an electrolytic cell during a chemical reaction. It operates based on Faraday's laws of electrolysis, where the amount of substance reacted is directly proportional to the quantity of electricity. Modern coulometers often employ electronic integration of current over time.
