Coulometry
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002628
An electroanalytical technique that measures the quantity of electricity (charge) consumed or produced during an electrochemical reaction to determine the amount of an analyte. This method relies on Faraday's laws of electrolysis, where the total charge is directly proportional to the moles of substance reacted. It can be performed at controlled potential or controlled current.
