Direct coulometry at controlled potential

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003251

A coulometric method where the potential of the working electrode is held constant, allowing for the selective electrochemical conversion of an analyte. The current decreases exponentially as the analyte is consumed, and the total charge passed is integrated over time. This technique offers high selectivity and is used for quantitative analysis of electroactive species.
