Deconvoluted mass spectrum
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002911
A mass spectrum that has been processed mathematically to remove overlapping peaks or to resolve components that are indistinguishable in the raw data. This technique is particularly useful for analyzing complex mixtures or large biomolecules with multiple charge states. The resulting spectrum presents a clearer representation of the individual components and their molecular masses.
