Charge-inversion mass spectrum
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012970
A mass spectrum obtained from a charge-inversion reaction, where an ion of a specific charge state is converted into an ion of the opposite charge state. This technique is used to characterize the structure and reactivity of ions in the gas phase. For example, a positive ion can be converted to a negative ion, or vice versa.
