DM-interference
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003364
An interference effect observed in analytical chemistry where a component in the sample matrix directly affects the measurement of the analyte, leading to an inaccurate result. This type of interference is distinct from spectral interferences, as it involves a chemical or physical interaction that alters the analyte's behavior or the detector's response. Proper calibration and matrix matching are often employed to mitigate DM-interference.
