Duct

A tubular structure within the body that transports secretions from a gland or organ to another location. These conduits are lined with epithelial cells and can vary in size and complexity depending on their function. Examples include the bile duct, which carries bile from the liver, and the pancreatic duct, which transports digestive enzymes.
