Enhancement reaction
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003937
A chemical reaction designed to increase the analytical signal of a target analyte, thereby improving its detectability or quantification. This is achieved by converting the analyte into a product that yields a stronger or more easily measurable response. Such reactions are often employed in trace analysis to overcome detection limits.
