Gradient-selected experiment

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004981

A nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiment that uses pulsed field gradients to select specific coherence transfer pathways, thereby simplifying complex spectra and suppressing unwanted signals. This technique relies on the spatial encoding of nuclear spins by magnetic field gradients. The selection of desired signals is achieved by varying the amplitude and duration of these gradient pulses.
