Excitation sculpting
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004184
A nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) technique that uses pulsed field gradients to selectively excite or suppress specific coherence pathways. It involves applying a series of radiofrequency pulses and magnetic field gradients to manipulate the spin magnetization. This method is commonly used to suppress the solvent signal in aqueous solutions.
