Hemorrhage

The escape of blood from a ruptured blood vessel, either internally into tissues or externally from the body. This can range from minor bleeding, such as a nosebleed, to severe and life-threatening blood loss. The severity and location of a hemorrhage determine its clinical impact, with intracranial hemorrhage being particularly dangerous.
