Hill plot
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005305
A graphical representation used in biochemistry to analyze the cooperativity of ligand binding to a macromolecule, such as an enzyme or receptor. It plots the logarithm of the ratio of occupied to unoccupied binding sites against the logarithm of the ligand concentration. The slope of the Hill plot, known as the Hill coefficient, provides an indication of the degree of cooperativity in binding.
