Homonuclear decoupling
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005381
A nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) technique that removes scalar coupling between nuclei of the same isotope. This simplifies the NMR spectrum by collapsing multiplet signals into singlets, making interpretation easier. The technique is often achieved by applying a radiofrequency field at the resonance frequency of the coupled nuclei.
